Concerned with the notions of embodiment, meditation and communication, Camilla engages herself in the fields of dance/making, yoga and writing. During the past 10 years she has developed a strong Ashtanga yoga practice, and whilst learning and practicing the 3rd series, she became aware of her need to share the knowledge of the tradition. Camilla is now a certified teacher in both Ashtanga/vinyasa yoga, meditation and the healing practice of Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki. Having spent the past two years in Shanghai, performing as well as furthering her different practices, Camilla is now settled in Berlin. Here she continues investing in her curiosity, and is complementing her physical and spiritual knowledge by earning a degree in philosophy.

during the practice, we will encourage the body to familiarize itself with proper alignment, and simultaneously surrender to the fear of unfamiliar forms or feelings of the formless.

dreamworks, an acting task workshop project for 15 dancers, to planet b12:

"from dream to dance, a research project: devising, creative practice, intuitive play, and engaging with the unconscious. come with a question you want to explore, a mystery, or perhaps a piece of text, a speech or poem that you are drawn to and want to engage with. over the course of three one and a half hour sessions we will explore approaches to devising through play, intuitive sound and movement, journaling and drawing. there will be the opportunity for some to share the work in progress though the emphasis will be on process rather than product."

applications for this project will open for one day coming sunday, 24th of may. 15 participants will be selected at random - more info to come on social media... please send an email to you@b12.space with "orlando" in the subject line and we will get back to you after sunday the 24th of may.
