description

"What would change if we took seriously the consideration that the world is alive, that we derive our being from a never-static, ever-changing field of entanglements, and that we are not the centre of the universe?"

BAYO AKOMOLAFE

What kind of performance can meet these extraordinary times? What quality of awareness and presence do we crave? What relationship do we hope to cultivate with our audiences/collaborators? Moving at the speed of trust, we will explore soulful, embodied and playful approaches to acting, performance, and creative practice. Please join me for a week of deep unknowing, fooling, playing and mystery. Participants should bring material that they are keen to explore over the course of the week. This could be a speech from a play, a song, an article, or a poem.
