Laja Field

Embrace the duality of our human existence as it relates to us as people and performers. This workshop will start with a warm up that moves towards a highly physical floor-work style class. The second half will dig into the theatrical realm, excavating characters and exploring their range of capabilities. Tap into the deep well of movement and theatrical qualities that live inside you, go flipping and flying on a journey between the real and surreal world of imagination.

some workshops offer group improvisation or partnering. these workshops elements may or may not be possible and the teachers and choreographers will modify their workshops accordingly in line with the health and safety measures required at the time. please stay flexible. thank you!
