Authentic expression, musicality and repertoire
The workshop is focused on training in Contemporary, that includes training in technique, musicality, stamina, and the challenge to research creativity and choreographic skills and composition. Through tasks, creation and diving into- and learning repertoire of Emma evelein, dancers are encouraged to train in a diverse palette of contemporary dance, partnering and improvisation, with a main direction of authentic expression and in a unique movement language development. dancers are also guided in how to survive in a dynamic work field. On request, a subtle part of the workshop can be dedicated to dance in film, camerawork with dance and how it works in the dance film industry, in both art- short- and industry film.
the description reflects an artist’s idea which was developed at the time it was submitted to b12. it may have changed by the time the workshop or the performance project is starting. please stay flexible. thank you!
