funny people
physical, theatrical, and emotional exploration
We'll begin with exercises designed to calm the mind and body, incorporating breathing techniques, yoga, and meditation. These practices will enhance mental clarity and nurture a sensitive connection with the body. Together, we’ll explore the initiation of movement, both from within and outward, and vice versa. Through improvisation, dancers will tune into to their internal flow, cultivate conscious breathing, and engage deeply with gravity. Emphasis will be placed on playing with weight and establishing a strong yet fluid connection with the floor. By paying close attention to the body's nuances, participants will discover new movement possibilities, build trust, release tension, and unlock fresh pathways in their dance journey. the second part of the workshop will focus on Physical Theatre and Text as a Creative Lab, in which participants will delve into theatrical expression and creative processes under Antonin Rioche's guidance. it will encourage personal exploration, emotional authenticity, and the fusion of physicality and storytelling, allowing dancers to bring their own narratives to life.
