This is an intense and dense group dynamic class. It is about energy and constantly challenging your limits. it's about Understanding what defines you as a dancer and pushing those boundaries over and over again, Allowing the environment to influence your dancing skills, and refining tools to create new movement qualities and rhythms. we will dig deeper inside the range of your own personal dance vocabulary, becoming anyone or anything. we'll be Working with partnering, multi-directional and micro-narrative movement, to transform as a whole group. we'll learn how to effectively be unpredictable, how to recycle energy, and how to use the body as our primary tool. Edivaldo guarantees a new process of study, in which he works as a teacher and guide, parallel to your learning process, making you take the step towards digesting the work in order to get to a completely new level.

biography
edivaldo ernesto (mozambique/de) is a dancer, teacher, choreographer, and improvisation expert, with a mozambican background and western Africa traditional dance influence. he has experience in performances, improvisations, and as assistant teacher for the flying low and passing through technique with david zambrano. he has worked in collaboration with linda kapetanea and rootlessroot in the duet htt, with oscar winner, hauschka, in the duet encounter, with marco blaauw in the duet i can’t breathe, and as a guest choreographer with Lenka vagnerova & company, as well as various dance school across europe. he is the creator and developer of depth movement workshop and next level, teaching and performing across europe, north america, south america, and asia. he is also a former member of sasha waltz and guests company.
