Instinctive Connections
Through the performance project we would like to explore the intricate themes of empathy, intimacy, group dynamics, and survival instincts through movement. We aspire to capture the emotional and physical experiences of individuals coming together in shared vulnerability, examining how these elements influence our interactions and relationships within a community. In an age where personal connections are often overshadowed by technology and societal pressures, we aim to invite the performer to reflect on the fundamental human instincts that bind us together. The choreography will weave together diverse dance styles and techniques, such as our shared levitation partnering, contemporary dance, martial arts, dance-theatre and text, symbolically representing the variety of ideas we will gather as a group. with this creation we would like to portray the fragility of intimacy while navigating the complexities of group dynamics, highlighting moments of tension, connection, and instinctive responses to shared challenges. by using all of the creativity that will arise in the process, we aspire the work to be a thought-provoking dance creation that transcends the physical realm, delving into the emotional and instinctual ties that govern our relationships. Through this exploration, we aim to inspire ourselves as performers and the audiences to reflect on the elements that shape our collective experience of survival and intimacy. for this creation, experience in partnering is necessary.

let's form a circle (working title)
This project begins with an essential unknown: a group of individuals, each bringing their own physicality, perspectives, and experiences, gathering in a shared studio space. Their identities, shaped by varied geographies, cultures, and relationships with movement, form a tapestry of contrasts and possibilities. It is precisely this mosaic of differences — both visible and invisible — that becomes the foundation of the creative process. The framework for the work is intentionally ambiguous: we step into the studio with only the knowledge of how we will begin and end, leaving everything in between to unfold through the act of meeting. This openness allows the process to be guided by the connections that emerge in real time, making the shared encounter the heartbeat of the creation. Through movement, we will explore themes of connection, individuality, and collective presence. The focus will be on how people navigate shared space, negotiating differences while forming something unified. Physicality, endurance, and the language of the body will guide the journey, inviting participants to discover new ways of communicating and expressing themselves. Ultimately, this creation is an inquiry into what it means to come together, to create without a script, and to let the process be shaped by the meeting of strangers. It celebrates unpredictability, adaptability, and the unifying power of movement — a work born entirely from the moments we share.

Open Arena: A Space for New Work
This performance project is open to dancers and performers who are keen to enhance their creative, collaborative and performative skills through the lens of physical theatre. With a strong emphasis on human connection and communication, the objective is to create a rich theatrical tapestry of stories and personal memoirs that reflect our shared humanity. By fostering a space for open collaboration and creative risk-taking, the project aims to offer a platform for performers to experiment with new ways of storytelling. The process will involve looking at the development of characters and personas, exploring texts and playing with props. Participants will engage in solo work as well as collective creation, with a focus on building trust, empathy, and connection within the group.
