title
between tension and release
focus
improvisation
description
the space between holding on and letting go. in this workshop, we begin in pairs, allowing ourselves to be moved before we move, guided through gentle manipulations that invite the body to soften, release, and follow. without force, momentum begins to shape us, revealing how movement can emerge when we surrender control. as touch fades, its memory remains, carrying us into solo improvisations where we explore time, space, and effort, weaving between moments of tension and release. the dance becomes something that happens to us, each shift, pause, and breath arriving like an unplanned meeting in motion.
