Creativity in movement
during this four-day workshop i will share some of my technical acrodance material, mixing soft acrobatics, floorwork and contemporary dance vocabulary, as well as a part of practice based on improvisation, movement research and creative curiosity. the main goal will be to explore creative and expressive forms that open doors to a wider freedom of movement. we will look into tasks based on lightness, flow, imagination, body and gaze awareness, sharpness on and off the floor, simplicity and complexity in motion, and limitations as potential opportunities. are you ready to expand your movement creativity? biography
davide bonetti is a professional acrodancer and movement coach. he entered flic contemporary circus school in turin (it) as an acrobat, where he specialised in handstands. he then got into cnac (centre national des arts du cirque) in france, developing an interest in a more fluid and organic approach to acrobatics: acrodance. from 2019 he has been giving workshops on this discipline in dance academies, festivals and circus schools in italy and europe. among the festivals in which he has taught are b12 research or die (berlin), henny juriens studio (amsterdam), frei art festival (freiburg) and pera school of performing arts (cyprus).
