FLOW FOCUS CONNECT
we will begin by awakening the body through breathing exercises, mobilising the joints and gradually moving toward motion. using a sensation scale from 0 to 10, we will seek to fluidify and unify the breath with movement in a natural way. we will then continue by exploring different ways of using the floor, working with various movement qualities, dynamics and spatial approaches, in order to discover the body’s limits and express actions that generate different physical and emotional states. in the second part, we will focus mainly on contact and improvisation, starting from a defined concept to explore and develop other interpretative facets: voice, theatricality, body sounds and multiple emotional states. this entire process will create a sensory space whose main objective is connection.

biography
abian graduated from the real conservatorio profesional de danza in madrid in 2004, after which he continued his career and worked with the foremost masters of spanish and flamenco dance, such as joaquín cortés and many others. since 2013, he decided to enrich and develop his skills, mainly in contemporary, working with several choreographers, including sharon fridman, carlos fernandez fuentes and franco dragone, director of cirque du soleil. fabian thomé is a dancer, choreographer and teacher, whose choreographic work has been acknowledged with 1st prize for choreography duo moi-je at the 33rd edition of certamen coreografico de madrid in 2019, and the prize for best interpretation with a solo at the burgos-new york international choreography contest in 2014. his work has been invited to several festivals in belgium, spain, madrid en danza, italy, beirut, lebanon, france, holland, seoul, korea, kalamata, greece, and others. from june 2015 until 2020, he worked with the company sidi larbi cherkaoui (eatsman production) as dancer and teacher. in 2016, driven by the motivation to assert his own style, he decided to form his own company, full time company, where he has been creating productions until now. ft company aims to share dance and performing arts based on a common bond that is generated through connection, listening and contact. these three main perspectives create a state which transforms our emotions into movements, sounds, words and architecture.

full time dance company was founded in 2016 by director and choreographer fabián thomé as a space for research, exploration and creation in the performing arts. the company develops a distinctive artistic language rooted in physicality, contact, listening and theatricality, building a strong scenic identity in which connection is the central axis of the creative process. the aim of full time dance company is to share dance and the performing arts through a common bond generated by physical contact, attentive listening and human connection. these principles create a state in which emotions transform into movement, sound, words and spatial architecture, allowing audiences to experience a rich sensory landscape. the company’s work has been presented at numerous international festivals and has received important recognition. with the duet moi-je, full time dance company received the first prize at the madrid choreographic competition (2019), a special mention at masdanza (2020) and the second prize at the concours chorégraphique international de sens (france, 2022). in 2025, the company was awarded the audience award at the harria choreographic competition (vitoria-gasteiz) for non-conventional performance spaces with the duet nahas. alongside its creative work, full time dance company emphasises pedagogy and artistic transmission and remains active in festivals, professional dance centres, training programs and conservatories internationally.
