Marco Pergallini & Maria Stella Pitarresi
potenziale d'azione
we will mainly focus on athletic and dynamic work, accompanied by constant training and targeted exercises, in which joint mobility will be functionally connected with muscle mass in action. This will lead to stimulating the body's physical and explosive readiness and will direct us towards awareness of how it moves in space, upright, on the ground, and in partnering. This will be the starting point for experimenting with the relationship between physicality, sensitivity, and listening to bodies. Can putting one's mind and body in a condition of vulnerability be a resource? A space will also be dedicated to improvisation, which will become the moment to answer this question.
please be aware of our early bird special offer for this workshop! you can apply for this offer up until the 24th of march 2023. after the 24th the regular workshop fee applies. applications are accepted up until one day before the workshops starts.

artistic duo: PERGALLINI-PITARRESI
The duo, made up of Marco Pergallini and Maria Stella Pitarresi, was born from the need to create and propose something authentic, and from a common interest in the sharing of a physical and artistic language. From four-handed writing, the creative process is structured in a way that the technique of each is in function of a further physical expression, both as individual performers and in the work of partners. Another reason that the collaboration of the duo began was the desire to move in one direction, which they found constantly with their background and curiosity of how it could mix and develop into the process of a creation. Their choreographic research is a union of the physical power and the poetics of a body. their choreographic work, Sinopia, where they are both authors and performers, sees them as protagonists in numerous festivals. They also won the Premio Teatro San Materno (Switzerland), as well as the eighth edition of PimOff, and are finalists at the Prospettiva Danza Teatro International Awards.
